"Cesars Watch" Art Commission Unveiling, Lecture and Reception Event hosted by LaBelle Winery

William Portrait

Join us to celebrate the unveiling of Master Carver William Schnute's work of art named "Cesars Watch"

LaBelle Winery has commissioned a major work of art, crafted by artist William Schnute - a self-taught Master Carver. Mr. Schnute’s project represents the first commission for the Art Gallery at LaBelle Winery Permanent Collection, by Amy LaBelle and Cesar Arboldea, owners of LaBelle Winery. The LaBelle Winery Art Program awards a New Hampshire artist the opportunity to create a unique piece of art for the LaBelle Winery Art Gallery – Permanent Collection.

At the unveiling event, Mr. Schnute's piece named “Cesars Watch”; a 300 lb. white oak high-relief wood grapevine wall motif sculpture, which depicts the living properties of a grapevine and coexisting habitat, with an above and below-ground perspective, will be celebrated for the outstanding workmanship of the artist. There will be a brief lecture by the Winery owners and artist who will share their perspectives on how the subject of the motif was decided upon and the painstaking and intricate process in creating the piece.

The reception will begin at 3:00 pm followed by the unveiling and discussion at 3:30 pm. Wine and cheese will be served.
