About Bruce McColl:
A native of Michigan and a former professional ice hockey player, McColl holds an MFA from Wayne State University. He is currently Director of Art Education at the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester, New Hampshire. Since 2010, McColl’s work has been shown in several solo exhibits.
McColl, whose preferred medium is watercolor, pencil and crayon, says, “I’m inspired by nature. I look for and travel to landscapes that engage my interest in color, form and design. Considering the beauty of New England, and New Hampshire specifically, and the changeable nature of our setting, I feel blessed to draw from this place.”
